Verona, March 2006 - Success for Italy in the 11th International Packaging Competition. The jury chaired by fashion designer Elio Fiorucci announced yesterday the awards for the best "packaging" of wines and spirits made from grapes, marcs, must and wine. Entries came not only from Italy but also from France, Germany, Portugal and Spain - yet Italian bottles won all the various categories. "All producers must pay close attention to the image of their products," said Elio Fiorucci about the Competition, "and Italian design even in this field confirmed is leading role in the world." The Competition aims to reward the efforts of wine-making companies towards continual improvement of their image.
